Yes… it happens. I had everything pretty much on track, and then something I’d been waiting on was finally approved. Well, there were two things I was waiting on to get approved. One I already stopped everything and completed and turned it in–which took a little over a month (while working a full-time job, dealing with home repair, and the dynamic idiocies of someone in their twenties). The 2nd one is a lot more complicated and will take up a lot of my brain, and then I got the flu, which has sort of slowed me down in the past two weeks.
Other than COVID, I’ve never had the flu. And thanks to COVID, I guess, now I have. And honestly, ya’ll can have it. I don’t think I’ve ever understood the phrase, “It made my hair hurt” until now. Uh uh. I’m good. Don’t want that back again.
But moving my office around in my house has been the after effect of a few things, and though I planned on words at the beginning of October…that is not what happened. Though, I kind of like having a separate bedroom again.
But, the new schedule may or may not finish before December 31st, but I am working on it. I do apologize if anyone was looking forward to the next Amaranthine or the next Cast In Shadow. They are coming, just not right now. I will admit, I could write more when I didn’t have the day job, but I enjoy having a work family.
So, back to words, and notebooks, and listening to Sidhefire really LOUD.
